AIESEC Student Leaders' Forum!

AIESEC Melbourne cordially invites you to the inaugural Student Leaders' Forum 2006!.

When: 17th October 2006, Tuesday, 6-8pm
Where: Public Lecture Theatre, Old Arts, Melbourne University

in joyce's words,

The purpose of this forum is to engage individuals passionate about leadership development in a meaningful dialogue, for the development of young people to have a positive impact on society. Our distinguished guests are true leaders who possess a wealth of knowledge accrued through their diverse experiences. Selected guests form the panel, as well as members of the floor.

This forum has been designed to be interactive and intimate, with a balance between didactic information about leadership as well as individual sharing, questions, and answers. 8 panelists will lead the forum with compelling stories of their leadership journey, and discussion will be facilitated by the Chair. Members of the floor will also have opportunities to question, to respond and to exchange opinions. Issues about leadership relating to attitudes, expectations, competencies, practices, and the future, both in the local and global context will be explored.

At the conclusion of the forum, AIESEC will like participants to have had the opportunity to reflect on their own leadership experiences, to have increased their own leadership repertoire, in turn enhancing the ability to realise potential both professionally and personally.
