jumbles

.. and so the spring break arrives.

Saturday started off with a surprising bang with The Leadership Seminar (which I had to sneak into because of oversleeping issues). My take on it? I cannot do justice to John Gibney since I was late, but Jack Shearer rocked the RMIT room. No doubt, both speakers received rave reviews.

With incredible tact, commanding presence and cheeky humour, Jack had all present at his fingertips. The master of mind games has an acquired taste of Understanding the Audience- Attacking, Anchoring and Building Rapport. If you were present, you'd know what I was talking about!

Both AIESECers and non-AIESCers alike were then asked to reflect on their thoughts of the leader they would be in the future, and more. Soon after, opinions were shared (using football anology?!). I could only marvel at the diverse characters seen throughout the room. Chinese tycoons, marketing experts, financial analysts= ASPIRING LEADERS.

Quoting Jack, "Be excited about life. Every morning is a brand new day. Recognize that you are a Leader and have a Powerful day."
